Sharing my explorations into natural areas

with a focus on wheelchair accessibility.

Accessible travel with Mike & the boys

After my husband Mike was diagnosed with ALS, we tried to fit in as many travel adventures as we could before Mike passed away in June of 2020. Back then I didn't have a lot of time to write - but the stories I did write are linked here. I took many photos and kept a diary of those times, so I'll be going back and telling new stories from that era.

Accessible Travel -
Keeping an eye out everywhere I go

As I travel and explore the natural world, I can't help but think of Mike and whether he would have been able to enjoy it with me while using a wheelchair. So I document beautiful accessible places here.
